Overview

This economic, independent-study, traditional math program incorporates six years of sequential math study into three palm-sized–but thick (500+ pages)–hardcover textbooks. Each book covers two years of learning and helps students apply math to everyday life through a series of practice exercises. Strayer-Upton Practical Arithmetic uses a mastery approach and offers an interesting glimpse into history with exercises based on life in the 1930s, when it was originally written.
