Overview

This traditional-style handwriting program uses a multisensory approach to instruction. Practice pages use two horizontal lines rather than the three lines used in many programs. Each level includes a consumable student workbook and a teacher’s guide. Writing journals provide additional writing space. Handwriting Without Tears works with all types of learners, but is especially helpful for those students who struggle, as well as left-handed learners.

My son and I really like this curriculum! We love how simple it is – we use it as open and go. There has been one lesson so far that I “needed” the teachers manual for, which I don’t have and didn’t know I needed. It was simple enough to adapt the lesson, but it would have been nice if the “answers” for that lesson were in the back of the student book. In my opinion you shouldn’t need to buy a teacher’s manual for handwriting. That would be my only small complaint. I plan to use this curriculum again.
