Overview

Combining music history with music appreciation, Discovering Music: 300 Years of Interaction surveys music from just before 1600 to WWI. 17 units are covered in a set of DVDs and a coursebook with important information, suggestions for listening, research websites, projects, quizzes, and note pages. A teacher’s manual is available on CD-ROM and includes a syllabus, course plan, four exams, answer keys, and a listening plan. Completing the course will give the student one full music history/appreciation or fine arts credit.
